ABOUT me and bentowolf
BentoWolf is an indie animation studio that focuses on creating stylish animation for small creators and larger studios. It was founded in 2023 by professional animator Bruce Vernon (that’s me) and is operated as a single-owner LLC.
I have worked professionally as an animator for over 10 years. After graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design, I did freelance work for several studios like Echo Bridge and Smoke Screen but I mostly worked on commission projects for smaller creatives who hadn’t had access to a quality animation studio. My experience working with clients on a personal level has naturally led me to start my own studio and I hope to soon be able to grow BentoWolf into a company that can provide more animation services to more people who need it.
Testimonials
“Working with Bruce and BentoWolf Studio has been better than I could have imagined. Bruce is an extremely talented and creative animator, all while delivering the project on time without delays. His attention to detail, and meticulous placement of easter eggs in our animation kept us watching it repeatedly with delight. If you take the time to skip through his animation frame by frame, you will see just how much effort goes into each second of his work. If you choose to work alongside BentoWolf Studio, you will not be disappointed.”

ABOUT PRICEs
When considering prices, there are three areas to pay attention to: Length, Complexity and Style.
Style: The technique used to animate. BentoWolf currently only works in hand-drawn 2-D.
Length: How long the animation lasts (i.e. seconds, minutes, etc.)
Complexity: How many different elements are in the animation (number of characters, effects, anything that may add to production time).
BentoWolf needs to know the details of your project before getting a final quote. It is also helpful to know your working budget so that we can help you work within those parameters if possible.
In general, a nice budget to have for animation is $2,500 USD. Please see the section below for a deep dive on the prices of animation.
